Abstract

The present paper aims to investigate the relationship between spiritual leadership and organizational entrepreneurship in technical and vocational school of Tehran city. Descriptive-correlation method was used. The statistical population consists of all the teachers of technical and vocational school of Tehran city (324 teacher). According to cochrane formula, 128 teacher were selected as sample. Multiple cluster sampling method was used in this research. Participants completed the two separate questionnaire on spiritual leadership (Fry et al, 2005) and organizational entrepreneurship (Yadolahi Farsi et al, 2009) have been used for the collection of data. The questionnaires reliability was evaluated based on cronbach’s alpha (spiritual leadership α= 0.83 and organizational entrepreneurship α=0.89). Utilized confirmatory factor anslysis for determining construct validity of the scale . CFA indices revealed good fitness of the questionaires. To analyze data, inferential statistics (pearson coefficient of correlation and step wise regression) were used. The main findings are: [ 1] There was a significant positive relationship between spiritual leadership and organizational entrepreneurship. [2] Among spiritual leadership dimensions, organizational vision accounted for the highest degree of variance in organizational entrepreneurship. The results also revealed that task membership, organizational commitment and performance feedback can not predict changes of organizational entrepreneurship and its dimensions.
